Victorian Election 2010

Victorian State Election November 2010

A state election will be held in Victoria on 27 November 2010.

If you are overseas, you do not have to vote in the state election and should complete the overseas notification form at www.vec.vic.gov.au.

In Germany, you will be able to vote either in person at the Australian Embassy in Berlin or by applying for a postal vote. You will need to know which Australian address you are currently enrolled at in order to be issued with the correct ballot papers for your electorate. You can check at www.vec.vic.gov.au.

The Australian Embassy in Berlin will be conducting early voting from
15 to 26 November, during normal office hours.

By voting early, you may avoid queues and delays. Alternatively, you can apply for a postal vote by going to www.vec.vic.gov.au and completing an “Application for a postal vote” form. Postal vote applications are also available from the Australian Embassy in Berlin.

More information on the Victorian state election is available from www.vec.vic.gov.au.
