Changes to Information Services Provided to Clients Residing in Malta
We will be changing how we deliver client information to prospective visa applicants residing in Malta over the next few weeks. From 1 June 2009, direct client information services at the Australian High Commission in Malta will no longer be available. Instead, clients have the option of contacting our Visa Offices in Berlin or of ringing the London Contact Centre for general information.
WHAT IS CHANGING?
From 1 June 2009, all general visa enquiries will need to be directed to the Visa Office in Berlin.

The actual visa processing arrangements for residents of Malta remain unchanged. Visa processing continues to be undertaken by DIAC’s online eVisa service, Onshore Processing Centres and the Visa Office at the Australian Embassy in Berlin.
TRANSITIONAL PERIOD 20 APRIL – 31 May 2009
Many Maltese residents already contact the Visa Office in Berlin to obtain general visa information. However, for a transitional period, residents of Malta will still have the option of contacting the Australian High Commission in Malta with their visa enquiry.
