4. RELATIONSHIP EVIDENCE - PROSPECTIVE MARRIAGE (Subclass 300)
Please submit the following documents in evidence of your relationship:
( ) evidence of lodgement of a Notice of Intended Marriage from your sponsor
in Australia:
-
certified copy of the Notice of Intended Marriage with details of the date (or date range) of your proposed wedding. The Notice must be signed by the marriage celebrant; OR
-
celebrant's letter confirming that a Notice of Intended Marriage has been lodged and indicating the date (or date range) of marriage ceremony; OR
-
a "Statement of Fees" issued by a State/Territory registry of births, deaths and marriages. This should also indicate the date (or date range) of the marriage ceremony.
( ) a certificate showing your marital status from your local government
authority
( ) if you or your sponsor has been previously married, or widowed, a
(certified copy of the) divorce decree absolute or the death certificate of
the deceased spouse (as appropriate) to evidence that you are free to
marry
( ) The Relationship Pro-Forma
( ) evidence that you and your spouse have met while adults and are
committed to spousal relationship (e.g. photos of you and you sponsor
together, evidence of contact during times of separation (itemised phone
bills, printouts of your E-Mail inbox folder)
The above listed items are suggestions only. You are expected to provide sufficient evidence to demonstrate an ongoing and genuine relationship. This evidence should show the period of time the relationship has been in existence.
Note: Further evidence may be requested and relied on in considering your application.
Please do not send phonecards; videos; photo albums; individual personal E-Mail messages to each other as part of your application.
( ) Form 888 - Statutory Declarations
Please do not provide Statutory Declarations to our office unless
asked to do so by your case officer after lodgement of your application.
