Evisa Support
If you applied for an electronic visa, your application will be processed onshore. All eVisa services are provided by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship in Australia.
E-Visa (Electronic Visas)
Please use the following link to check your online visa status before you make any enquiries regarding your electronic visa application. You need to have your transaction reference number [for example: EGMN69SVX] and your passport ready.
See: EVisa Status Request
Note: German Passport Holders
Error accessing evisa status enquiry with German passport:
Please note that your online visa details always match the machine readable zone of your passport. The correct passport number to use to access your evisa case is listed at the bottom left hand corner of your passport in the machine readable zone. German 9-digit passport numbers (standard passports [not emergency passports] issued after 01.01.2004) always create the security digit when you apply for an electronic visa. This is not an error.
ETA (Electronic Travel Authority)
Assistance may be provided by the visa services section Berlin regarding ETA enquiries (Electronic Travel Authority, visiting for up to 3 months).
See: ETA Support
If you wish to check your ETA that you obtained via the Internet, please use the website link. Please have your passport and the reference number (for example 48956) ready.
See: ETA Check
All other enquries regarding online visas, should be made to the relevant helpdesks.
If you need to contact the department, please include your TRN, your name, date of birth and passport details and specify your request. Please note that a reply from any helpdesk may take several working days.
